LTE has been commercial used as the standard of fourth generation of mobile communication and has been adopted by operators all over the world which resulted in the rapid development and popularization.Meanwhile, growing data traffic needs more spectrum which makes the shortage of LTE spectrum more prominent,in order to meet the spectrum demands of the LTE,radio management departments in different countries have done a lot of work.Searching for available spectrum to launch LTE network is now an important research topic towards communication workers.Radar is a communication system which is based on signal analysis and processing.Radar is authorized to have 1200MHz spectrum of S band which accounted 60%of S band, meanwhile most of the radar spectrum is in the state of less utilization. In this research,we learn the 3 GPP LTE standard and ITU standard about radar to find the characteristics of radar and LTE in spectrum using. As we know that it is discontinuous in time and frequency domain when radar using spectrum,we searched for spectrum sharing strategy from time domain and frequency domain. And then, two ideas were proposed.1.We can allocate the ten subframes of one wireless frame of LTE to avoid radar pulse in time domain. And reduce the possibility of LTE to be interference2.Allocate the RB(Resource Block)according to radar, avoid from using frequency that radar is using. Then reduce the possibility of LTE to be interference by some narrow band radarThis study is based on the project in my laboratory, using software to design simulation program to verify the strategies we proposed, then analyse the simulation results.Set up hard ware in loop testbed to finish the semi-physical simulation. The simulation results show that,it will performance different when different sub-frame is interfered by the radar pulse.Partial throughput would yield when abandon certain sub-frames and transmit nothing in the sub-frame which is injected by radar pulse. It can be realized from frequency domain to avoid interference of the radar by flexible RB configuration, because we can a void the busy frequency band which radar is using. The study is of certain value for LTE system to share radar spectrum and could be a reference in expending LTE spectrum.
