Fault diagnosis technology refers to technical means of distinguishin working condition,fault location and reason by monitoring.its working properly by means of monitoring.Since the rise of the fault diagnosis technology,it's widely used in various fields to protect the people and system's security,to improve equipment management,to enhance economic efficiency and to avoid the occurrence of major accidents and disasters.Application of intelligent technology in fault diagnosis field provides powerful means for the maintenance of large complex systems.On-line analyzer effectively broaden the field of online monitoring technology.It plays an irreplaceable role in the industry to realize continuous or cyclical measurement and automated anylisis of the composition and physical parameters.Therefore,a fault diasnosis system of instrument has important practical significance in industrial process.Ninety-five percent of the communication protocol is analyzed and introduced in the article,laying a solid foundation for following work.Taken the Siemens gas analyzer U23,as an instance,hardware connections,communication data interception and analysis and communication protocol analysis of U23 is realized based on the working principle and communication specification of the instruments.According to protocol and instruction of U23,the framework of expert system is designed.The graphical user interface is main framework developed by Java,embedding inference engine developed by Clojure and connecting the MySQL database.The main framework consists of five main functional modules such as data acquisition and preprocessing module,input/output module,data consulting module,knowledge query module,and transfer module.Based on the fuzzy inference engine,further improvement is realized to improve efficiency by using forward and backward inference method and adding case based reasoning.In the end,the paper model of expert system is successfully debugged by simulation of fault signal anda high degree of accuracyis reached.
