Research And Application Of CMF Resource Library For Robot Modeling Design

Product design includes the shape design,color design and material and surface treatment design.However,the products' shape design on the market are too similar to identify,unless the user pay attention to the detail design of the product,such as the color design,material and surface treatment design.And CMF design is also called the detail design.So the CMF design is one of the differences bettwen high quality product and poor quality product,and it is the most important difference bettwen original product and copy product.On the reaserch of the CMF resource library,the product's additional value would be improved as well as the market competitiveness.In addition,it can also shot the product design cycle effctively,and briong greater profits for the enterprise.With the convenience of our studio project,this paper take the home intelligent service robot as the study sample,and introduce the concept of CMF resourse library,and established the prototype of CMF resourse library to robot design.Based on the comprehensive analysis of the product target market and the product position,the reasercher made CMF detail design on the target product.And then,applying the gray relational analysis method to evaluate the product schemes,turns out that the schemes designed by CMF resourse library are consistent with the user 's perceptual image.Finally,20 undergraduates who have not been exposed to a complete practical project design been invited to make detail design to target product with the CMF resourse library.The experiment demands those 20 students do product 's CMF design within two hours by the tool of CMF resourse library.The advantages and disadvantages of the CMF resource library for robot design are obtained by observing,documenting and analyzing the whole design process by means of experimental observation and questionnaire.It provides theoretical support for the fol low-up study.The results show that designers can not only shorten the product design cycle through the "CMF resource library for robot modeling",but also make the target product be different from similar product and improv the additional value.
