The application technology of industrial robots in welding,palletizing,painting and handling is very mature.In the field of assembly,industrial robots mostly play some auxiliary functions or perform some simple assembly.For example,the large parts to be assembled are transported to the assembly station and the assembly is manually guided orComplete the work of assembly parts that does not require high precision in assembly.It involves the structural design of parts,the assembly process of products,and various technical applications of industrial robots in fine assembly.In response to the problems involved in the assembly of complex mechanical products by industrial robots above.Take engine assembly as a specific research object.Conduct the subject resaearch on the theme of the application of industrial robots in the assembly process of mechanical products from the aspects of engine assembly line design process,assembly process and vision technology application.Attempts to extract a set of reasonable and feasible general methods for industrial robots used in the assembly of mechanical products.The main work done in this paper is:engine assembly sequence planning,engine assembly line design based on industrial robots,Dislodgement machine design,assembly process analysis,assembly process cycle time analysis and discussion of visual angular positioning technology in mechanical product assembly process Applications,etc.
