Full-sphere surround sound technique is widely applied to business,stage performance as well as art installations.Compared with traditional stereo sound,which simply rebuilds the sound in front of the audience,the most outstanding feature of Full-sphere surround sound is to rebuild a 360-degree sound field,even including the sound in verticality.Traditional surround pan,wave field synthesis and Ambisonics are the most common algorithms of Full-sphere surround sound techniques.Based on wave field synthesis and Ambisonics,there are several Full-sphere surround sound systems deriving from them.The most widely applied two are IOSONO with wave field synthesis and ICST Ambisonic which is mainly use as Max/MSP and C-Sound external.In this thesis,experiments will be conducted to compare the features of IOSONO,ICST Ambisonic and traditional Surround pan from the aspect of audition,thus analyzing their value in practical.
