Design And Implementation Of Laboratory Management System For A Scientific Research Institute

With the economic development and social progress,competition between all walks of life is becoming more and more intense.People in order to gain an advantage in the competition,more and more pursuit of high efficiency and low cost.The introduction of information technology,let people from the simple repetition of the task freed,and thus pay more attention to groundbreaking work,improve efficiency and reduce costs,but also enhance the completion of the task.Chinese Academy of Sciences in the use of information technology to promote scientific and technological innovation and personnel training started relatively early.Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2002 began to implement the ARP project(Academia Resource Planning).This project meets the requirements of the multi-level and multi-dimensional daily work of all levels.The project also played a significant role in the standardization and efficiency of the work.Nevertheless,the existing management system is designed from a high-level perspective,these applications are not designed from the laboratory point of view and development,and therefore cannot meet the daily needs of the laboratory.In this context,we initiation of the idea of developing the system.Through the combination of the system and the existing system,you can achieve the laboratory daily work of the auxiliary management,laboratory work to achieve one-stop management.The system can be inefficient duplication of work to the computer to automatically complete,and some of the work process management,while improving efficiency,but also can reduce the error occurred.The author designed the system,which is in-depth analysis of the characteristics and difficulties of the daily work of the laboratory,for the actual work needs,and collected the views of many users and recommendations.The author makes extensive use of the knowledge of the software engineering and the modern information management system of the postgraduates,has carried on the detailed demand analysis,the outline design and the detailed design to the system,andfinally carries on the concrete code realization and the function/performance test.After several test runs in the laboratory,it proves that the system can meet the daily needs of the laboratory,reduce the daily work intensity of the researchers,improve the efficiency of daily work,and can be in other laboratories to carry out a wider range of promotion and application..
