In recent years,as the important branch of robot technology,remote control technology has also carried out a technological innovation because of the rapid development of robot technology.Now,remote control applications become more and more widely.The development of embedded system and android system has become more mature,the market embedded devices,Android phones and Android tablet have been very popular.In order to make our life more convenient for the use of remote devices,ARM-based mobile robot remote control system is developed in this thesis.The system is mainly composed of embedded system,mobile robot,android phone and wireless router.The android-based mobile robot image acquisition and mobile robot remote control are realized.The content of the paper is divided into the following three parts.Firstly,the core board module was designed in entire control system.This part mainly including the core board chip,WIFI and android device.Then,the ARM system is described in detail,the embedded system and peripheral related circuits are designed,including:power circuit,reset circuit,crystal circuit,JTAG circuit and so on.Finally,a detailed description of the characteristics and settings for WIFI is given.Secondly,the code is written in order to produce APP for the android operating system equipment.WIFI can be used to collect images which are taken by the camera.The image acquisition system is more convenient and the images can be sent to the mobile phone APP software by WIFI,the mobile robot environment can be obtained by mobile phones.The experiment results show that the system has good effect on the image acquisition;also,the quality of the obtained images is very clear.Finally,ARM-based mobile robot remote control system is tested.First,the mobile robot car drive module is designed,then,ARM embedded programs and the android mobile phone APP are programmed,a test site model is developed,the entire system is used to verify the realization of the ARM-based mobile robot remote control.At the same time,in the case of different environmental obstacles,a variety of mobile robots remote obstacle avoidance experiment is test.The experimental results show that the design of the remote control system is more reasonable and flexible,the collected images are clearer so as to achieve the desired results.
