In recent years,wireless sensor network has become a hotspot in the field of communication research,which is a new type of data monitoring network.For wireless sensor network,researching on routing protocol is helpful to improve the routing performance of the network.In the traditional routing protocol,we always pre-select a determined path to forward packets,this approach is simple,but the wireless sensor network link has lost,time-varying characteristics,so traditional routing protocol is not suitable for wireless sensor network environment.Compared with traditional routing protocol,opportunistic routing utilizes the broadcast nature of the wireless channel,which is well suited.for wireless sensor network.In this thesis,we study the opportunistic routing,including the designing of routing metric,the selection and sorting of candidate forwarding nodes,and the coordination mechanism between candidate forwarding nodes and other aspects,we design opportunistic routing protocol in wireless sensor network.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The energy of sensor node is limited,in order to reduce energy consumption in the network,an energy aware opportunistic routing protocol is designed we calculate the energy consumption by the transmission of data packets between adjacent nodes on the basis of energy consumption model of the wireless sensor network,then calculating the energy consumption of each node transmit a data packet to the destination node,next,we propose.a routing metric that combine-with.the node residual energy and energy consumption,and the candidate forwarding node selection and sorting algorithm is given on the basis of this routing metric,finally,we use packet sequence list PSL to coordinate the forwarding of packets between candidate forwarding nodes and reduce the repeated transmission of data packets.The simulation results show that the proposed protocol is capable of reducing the energy consumption efficiently,balance the network energy and prolong the network lifetime.(2)Due to the development of network coding technology,many scholars have introduced the network coding into opportunistic routing.But most of the network coding opportunistic routing protocols still use the shortest path routing ETX or coding opportunity as routing metric,frequently selecting the nodes that are near the destination node or have maximal coding opportunity to forward data packets,which will cause local overload.Therefore,an comprehensive routing metric that combine with the coding opportunities and region load of the node is proposed,Then according to this routing metric,then we propose coding aware opportunistic routing protocol and make a tradeoff between coding and region load by actively detecting possible coding opportunities.The experiments show that the proposed routing protocol can better balance network load,improve network throughput,and optimize network performance.
