Visible Light Communication(VLC)technology because of its low power consumption,high speedly modulated,and easy to achieve high-speed data communication,it has been admired and studied by the global investigators within a few years.The study limitations of the visible light communication is limited modulation bandwidth,researchers have proposed a variety of solutions to improve it.This design uses wavelength division multiplexing technology designed to transmit information using RGB tricolor consisting of three-way channel system via three-way LED driver for making the three colors of light mix of white,so except the realization of the first normal lighting,it can achieve the second functions-information transmission.This paper first introduces the research background and significance of visible light communication,citing current research,most researchers all focus on the study of white LED communications,RGB-LED for a little research,this article chose for RGB-LED for communication research.After a theoretical study,designed the overall system solution,to produce a system prototype.This system,ARM7-LPC2148 as the main chip,through improved OOK coded modulation signal and the three-way three-way LED driving voltage to a load coupLED respectively transmit information on RGB-LED.At the receiving system using four photodetectors receiving an optical signal,then chose a signal of four for amplification,filtering,shaping,and then decoded and demodulated by the receiving terminal,the control chip LPC2148 makes the data to be displayed on the LCD screen OLCD12864.After the completion of the prototype system,the system was tested,the communication rate of the system is 8.4KHz,the best communication state of this system is the transmission distance of 1.5cm,the light intensity is 33701ux.
