With the widely application of the electro-hydraulic servo control technology,the perfor-mance of the electro-hydraulic servo valve has focused more and more attention.In order to improve the static and dynamic performance of the servo valve,an servo amplifier,achieving the control strategy of servo-valve,is needed to researched.It is hoped that this amplifier has some good characteristics,such as fast response,adjustable gain,good output linearity,stable reliability and enough output power.In this reaserch,the functional modules of the amplifier are determined and the circuit structure of each module is discussed.Then the specific analysis procedure of amplifier cir-cuit is given by using computational analysis based on electronic circuit theory and numerical simulation based on Multisim.The thorough study on the servo amplifier has been done.Then an amplifier is developed,which has an LVDT demodulator circuit,a velocity cor-rection link,a switch-mode power stage and a current negative feedback.A physical model of the amplifier is made and it's performance test is done as well.Through comparing the test results and the theoretical analysis results,it can be seen that they coincide well.So the im-proved amplifier has high output precision,wide response bandwidth,big output current range reching 0?±160mA.It is practical and reliable and has important technology reference value in engineering application.
