With the development of information technology,the influence of the traditional newspapers,magazines,broadcast and TV media in people's life are more and more small,and the new media based on Internet and mobile network has become a mainstream media in the 21 st century.In the current environment,people get information more quickly which makes people can read sorts of information about life and work more conveniently.A new way of mobile reading become the main way of reading with the development of mobile terminal technology.In the new media environment,mobile reading has been liked by university students because of numerous advantages,such as rich content,convenience,quick and low cost.College students as the main group of mobile reading,their reading methods and habits have also been influenced under the different degrees.So this paper argues that the study of mobile reading behavior of college students have a certain significance in the new media environment.This article defines the meaning of the new media and mobile reading on the basis of summary about theoretical knowledge,and analyzed their status of development.This article takes the form of questionnaire and selects college students as investigation object and makes the analysis of the reliability and validity of the questionnaire on the basis of questionnaire distribution and recovery.After that,this article uses SPSS17.0 to analyze the basic situation of college students' mobile reading,behavior characteristics and influence factors.In the end,this article puts forward suggestions and measures to improve the university students' mobile reading from the perspective of students,the library Angle and the mobile reading market on the basis of research conclusions.
