Study On The Ptimization Of Digital TV Front-End System Based On IP Technologies

After forty years of development,China's Cable TV has entered mature period.For more than forty years,cable TV has experienced several important development period,such as the cultural development of the 1980 s and the national information revolution of the 1990 s.Cable TV is keeping up with the times,serving the society and strengthening itself.The TV front-end system from wireless transmission to the cable transmission,from the analog front-end to the digital front-end,every change made CATV technology get a rapid growth.With the development of science and technology,the human society has entered the digital and information age.Along with the rising number of programs,the continuous improvement of image quality,the launch of 3D channels and the application of VR technology which is the most popular nowadays,the traditional analogue television has been unable to carry the more diverse business needs of cable users,cable TV front-end system getting into IP is imperative.This article introduced the basic situation of digital TV and IP front-end's advantages,On the basis of the author's working experience in digital TV front-end system,Studied the key technology of the IP-based digital TV front-end system,including the IP multicast technology and IGMP related protocols.The author participated in the whole process of IP transformation of the central engine room's digital front-end in Jilin province and the process of IP transformation of Self-governance program in counties and cities.According to the problems he encountered,put forward the solutions.The completion of the IP front-end greatly reduces the equipment of the entire front-end system,improve the stability of the system,and made the maintenance more convenient.The development of IP technology has provided users with more and better TV programs,and met the demands of the audience better.
