The significance of medical image for the modern medical science has become more and more important with the development of visualization technology.It is also playing a more and more important role in clinical diagnosis and scientific research.The so-called medical imaging,is the use of a variety of imaging devices on the human body internal organs,organs and functional changes in the form of observation and research methods.Because the different medical information can be provided by different medical imaging equipment,the medical image can play a different role in clinical diagnosis and treatment.The medical images obtained from different imaging devices are very important to the medical diagnosis.In this paper,image fusion and the development situation of image segmentation and image the common fusion was introduced,analyzed and compared with the image segmentation algorithm,in order to understand the image fusion and image fusion segmentation related content,learning and segmentation related knowledge,image fusion and development process,the specific segmentation the implementation method and the future development direction of the understanding and grasp for future work and learning foundation.This paper introduces the research and some algorithms of medical image processing in image fusion and image segmentation was carried out,aiming at the inadequacy of existing algorithms,two kinds of image processing,an improved algorithm is proposed,and the improved algorithm of image fusion experiments were carried out,and the improved algorithm results with other methods the operation results were compared to verify the improved algorithm,the advantages of intuitive display.In the aspect of image fusion,wavelet transform image fusion method and a brief introduction of spatial domain fusion methods based on wavelet transform and a focus on the Pyramid method combined with the improved fusion algorithm is studied,and to verify the implementation effect of this algorithm through programming experiment.Will be together through to the medical images of different equipment,can make an image fusion in different information of the medical image,which can enrich the tissue and focus information,are of great help to improve the accuracy of diagnosis,to have a great role in promoting treatment and medical research.The article focuses on the spatial image fusion method and introduces the programming and image fusion method based on transform domain based on common,then we are introduced and the programming method of image fusion based on wavelet transform,and a kind of improved image wavelet transform method and Pyramid fusion algorithm are described and programming based on.By comparing the running results of several algorithms,the improved algorithm can make full use of the infor mation of the source images in the fusion,can make the final information,visual effect is good,can well meet the needs of medical image fusion.In image segmentation,introduces the threshold segmentation method,segmentation method and edge segmentatio n method the common segmentation algorithm,the segmentation algorithm of the level set,aiming at the shortage of the traditional fast matching method,the gray value added in the calculation of the velocity function,and through the pre segmented preprocess,theory can be very good to be outstanding and segmentation segmentation,and based on the above analysis this paper presents an improved algorithm based on level set algorithm,analyze and compare the superiority in comparison with ordinary level set algorithm.
