The design of foundation excavations involve engineering geology,rock and soil mechanics,structural mechanics,mathematics and computer programming.The process of calculation is complex and designing foundation excavations by programming ishard for general geotechnical professionals.Meanwhile,the mechanics which is used in foundation excavation design is elastic subgrade cannot achieve functional relationship between cost and other factors directly and fails to use function related knowledge to optimize the design.Foundation excavations design optimization at present only refers to trial calculation and intelligent optimization.Both of the two methods have respective flaw that the computing time is long and not necessarily achieve a satisfactory optimal solution.Nowadays,the foundations engineering of the states have enormous space of optimization for its large quantities,scale and skyrocket cost.The thesis probes into the optimal design of foundation excavations and mainly accomplishes the following work:(1)Reviewing the basic content of the design of foundation excavations,current status of research of optimal design of foundation excavations.The rule that the overall stability of foundation excavation is increased with the increase of embedded depth is explained,and the rule is applied to the design of foundation excavation.(2)Using C language to calculate the internal force of the elastic fulcrum method of calculating the internal force of the pile,and with examples to test the correctness of the program.It is pointed out that the bending moment and shear force have large errors when the soil reaction force is equivalent to the two ends of the micro element,the reason is analyzed and the correction method is proposed.(3)The incremental method is proposed to calculate the anti bending reinforcement of piles and the calculation program is worked out,which verifies the accuracy of the calculation,and points out that the accuracy of the calculation is not greater than 0.0001.(4)The design scheme of a foundation excavation is optimized by the program and enumeration method.The results show that the optimized scheme has a significant reduction in the cost of foundation excavation.At the same time to test the computational efficiency of the ordinary computer optimization design of foundation excavation,the ordinary computer can be accomplished in a short time on a cantilever or single row pile foundation excavation supporting scheme to search all too long,need to use more advanced computer time required for more complex foundation.(5)The enumeration method combined with local experience or trial by law to the foundation excavation optimization calculation method,verified the validity and efficiency of the calculation method for local experience area,this method can be used to eliminate the high cost of early part of the program,so that ordinary computer can also do optimization design of pile foundation work.(6)The development direction of optimum design of foundation excavation is discussed.
