The number of mobile device users is continuously increasing and at the same time mobile phone manufacturers and service providers are striving to introduce new features and services to their users.Among those emerging services Location Based Services(LBS)have obtained an increasing interest among mobile users and service providers.With the rapid development of LTE network,the positioning requirement of intelligent terminals is getting higher and higher.Location Fingerprint Positioning has become one of the research hotspots in recent years not only because it can overcome the interference of buildings but also it is a simple method to implement.The structure of this thesis is as follows:First of all,this thesis analysizes the research results of location fingerprint positioning technology at home and abroad,and then summarizes the positioning technology in LTE network.Secondly,based on the characteristics of location fingerprint positioning technology,the LTE network positioning architecture is improved.An architecture of the LTE network positioning which uses the method of location fingerprint positioning is designed.Based on this architecture,the module structure of the system,the logic function,the LPP message and the positioning process is also designed in detail.Thirdly,four kinds of different filtering methods were used to processing fingerprint data.For the problem of large amount of data in fingerprint database,this thesis proposes a dynamic secondary search algorithm,which effectively reduces the positioning time.Then,four kinds of fingerprint localization algorithms,nearest neighbor method(NN),K nearest neighbor method(KNN),K-weighted nearest neighbor method(WKNN),and Bayes method are simulated analyzed from the main factors that affect the positioning performance,such as noise,fingerprint interval and K value.Based on the algorithm of WKNN,an improved matching and positioning method that uses the Pearson correlation coefficient(ImWKNN)is proposed.The results show that the modified method has improved the positioning accuracy and stability.Then,based on the research of the algorithms,a demonstration system that adopts the client/server model is developed.In the system,the Android client collects the fingerprint and displays the result,while the server stores the fingerprint information and calculates the location.Finally,with the fingerprint database in the offline stage,a test environment of the system is set up to verify the positioning function and the performance of the system.The results show that the average postioning error of the system is 29 meters when the fingerprint interval is bout 20 meters,which basically meets the E911 requirement.
