The broadband low-noise amplifier is generally used as various radio receiver pre-amplifier and sensitive electronic detection equipment amplifiers.The broadband low-noise amplifier is guaranteed to produce the lowest noise when the signal is amplified.The broadband low-noise amplifier plays a key role in the noise and receiver sensitivity of the receiving system.Firstly,the article introduces the overseas research status concerning the wideband low-noise amplifier,then describes the main performance parameters and the design theory,finally designs two-stage wideband low-noise amplifier based on ADS.In the paper,ATF38143 chip and ADS2012 are used to design and simulate low-noise amplifier which is a two-stage amplifier circuit configuration cascade.Firstly,we select the appropriate quiescent point,then a single supply bias circuit is designed to ensure the amplifier proper operation;the method of source-side series micro strip is selected to increase the stability of the circuit without introducing noise;the first stage amplifier circuit is designed with a minimum of noise matching standards and a maximum of matching standards,and uses parallel negative feedback to improve gain flatness;parallel FET is used to decrease noise;stage matching network is used to achieve stable gain;effective matching network is used to-increase bandwidth,Then the total circuit is optimized by setting the objective function,then compare performance of small signal models and packing models to enhance persuasiveness.Analysis of linearity is carried out by packing model.Finally design layout and carry out the circuit diagram layout-Schematic joint simulation and make manufactured to analyze cause.The paper design a low-noise amplifier bandwidth of 0.5-3.5 GHz.The noise figure is less than 2dB,gain is greater than 22 dB,gain flatness is less than ? 1dB,input VSWR is less than 1.8,output VSWR is less than 1.5,output 1dB compression point is greater than 10 dBm,all of the indications meet the design requirements and come up with the test plan.
