With the rapid development of stealth technology,electronic interference and anti-radiation missile technology,the detection environment of radar becomes more and more complicated,and traditional active radars have to face great challenges.In the Passive Coherent Location system,however,the commercial FM stations,the television stations,and the cell phone base stations can be used as illuminators of opportunities.The target can be located with echo signals scatted by the target from transmitters.The PCL is low cost,stealth and anti-stealth,and hence attracts more and more attentions in the field of radar.In this paper,the algorithms of maneuvering target tracking with PCL system are proposed.The main work is given as follows:First,the basic principle of passive coherent location for maneuvering target tracking is introduced.Two maneuvering target tracking algorithms: the digraph switch variable structure multiple mode(DS-VSMM)algorithm and the adaptive variable structure multiple mode(A-VSMM)algorithm,are presented in detail.Simulation results show that the tracking performance of the strong maneuvering target can be effectively improved with these two methods.Second,a farthest point priority asymptotically current statistical digraph switch variable structure multiple model(FCD-VSMM)method is proposed.In this method,the farthest point priority asymptotically technique is used to optimize the pseudo-measurement and the current statistical model is combined with the directed graph switching variable structure interaction multiple model algorithm to track maneuvering targets.Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed method gains advantages over traditional methods.Last,a backward smoothing current statistic digraph switch variable structure interaction multiple model(BCD-VSMM)method is proposed.In this method,the steepest descent technique is invoked to optimize the pseudo-measurement and the backward smoothing is used to smooth the backtracking for the tracking trajectory optimization.This method can effectively improve the performance of maneuvering target tracking.Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
