Smart grid is widely considered to be the next generation of power grid,where power generation,management,transmission,distribution,and utilization are fully upgraded to improve agility,reliability,efficiency,security,economy and environmental friendless.As an important channel for data transmission and information exchange,communication network has become an essential part of smart grid,and wireless communication solution is the first choice with flexibility and adaptability.However,with data capacity increasing in smart grid,the limited radio spectrum resource becomes a key issue,which may not meet the application requirements.To solve the spectrum scarcity problem,cognitive radio has been proposed and will apply into the smart grid communication system,by sensing the external communication environment,adjusting the frequency,bandwidth,and other parameters adaptively,to achieve spectrum efficiency and improve the communication quality.This thesis discusses the background and significance,analyzes the current situation of power network communication.Then,the concept and reference model of smart grid,power communication network architecture and key technologies,and spectrum sensing technology are described in detail.Based on the in-depth study of existing spectrum sensing algorithms,optimized sensing algorithm strategy will be chose depending on the various needs.Finally,In order to achieve the balance of supply and demand,delay,reliability and efficiency,the influence of wireless communication reliability on DRM performance is analyzed,the thesis proposes a mathematical model to optimize communication performance,where introduces the spectrum sensing algorithm to set the parameters,such as electricity price,time,interruption,benefit and so on.Using energy detection,simulation results are presented.Through the simulation performance analysis can be seen,the model proposed has spectrum sensing accuracy,and it reduces communication outage probability,not only utilizing the idle spectrum effectively;also improving the reliability and quality of smart grid communications system.
