Design And Implementation Of MPLS VPN Based On The Campus Network

The construction of the campus network is an important part of the national information construction,and is an important means of developing the country through science and education.With the development and worldwide-using of the Internet,universities view building the wisdom of the campus as a major task,which is also the important aspects of the soft power when competing among universities.How to build a strong performance campus networking solutions which meets the needs of the campus with low cost becomes an urgent problem.This paper is based on the MPLS VPN technology which realizes the campus network with great advantages.With the MPLS technology transplantation into the campus network,the campus network is no more complex when compared with Internet backbone network and enterprise network and opens the MPLS function according to the needs,ensuring that all the traffic flow of the campus network forwarding with high speed,especially on some the key business flow such as a campus card,school office,online academic,library etc.,while security a nd stability also taking into account.This paper first introduces the MPLS technology,describes the principle and working process of the MPLS technology.The MPLS technology is the next generation core network of great advantages.Then introduce the development of VPN technology and the key technologies,compared with the traditional VPN,based on the VPN MPLS implementation of the two technologies and technical advantages.At the same time,the principle of BGP and QOS in MPLS are studied.Finally,thro ugh the experimental simulation of the campus network with two typical campus applications for example and analysis of the characteristics of the campus network,we studied the performance of the network and the main advantages of VPN MPLS technology.
