At present,most of the controlled objects in practical industrial processes are multivariable systems with strong coupling,nonlinearity and multi-constraint characteristics.For the multivariable system,the traditional PID algorithm can not control it well.And based on its model prediction,rolling optimization and feedback correction control strategy,the predictive control is suitable for more complex process control systems.So in this paper,two predictive control algorithms for multivariable systems are proposed: multivariable dynamic matrix control algorithm and stair-like constrained multivariable dynamic matrix control algorithm based on golden section methed.And their control structures and principles are analyzed in depth.But the researches on multivariable systems are limited by the control theory research in the simulation environment and they lack the application test in the actual system.Therefore,a physical model of quadruple tanks multi-variable system based on YC-SX multivariable process control experiment platform is built in this paper's research process.And the decoupling control effect of traditional feedforward compensation PID decoupling control algorithm and these two kinds of predictive control algorithms on this multivariable system are compared by experimental research.The experimental results show that stair-like constrained multivariable dynamic matrix control algorithm based on golden section methed has the best control effect and it can effectively solve the coupling problem of multivariable system under various disturbance conditions and different working conditions.In addition,the design of the control system on the experiment platform is closer to the actual situation of the engineering,which is very important for the inspection of theoretical research results.At last,for the convenience of operation and analysis,this paper designs a human-machine interface based on Matlab and LabVIEW software.It achieves a better interface operation effect by integrating the advantages of Matlab software in data processing and the LabVIEW software in creating operation interface.
