At the beginning of the design of ZigBee technology,in order to ensure its versatility for the promotion of ZigBee technology, the physical channel works on the 2.4GHz ISM Band, except on the 868MHz in Europe and on the 965MHz in United States.2.4GHz ISM Band is free for the Industrial,Scientific and Medical purposes,it can be used without authorization, only some rules need to be satisfied when using it.As the development of wireless network technology, this band is becoming crowded increasingly.ZigBee equipment would be affected by the other technologies which are working on this band as well.According to the problems mentioned above, this thesis carried out a lot of research to find out the Packet Error Rate,Link quality of Zigbee Network, and the approaches of Multi-channel interference avoidance of IEEE 802.15.4 network under the interference of IEEE 802.11 to ensure the orphan nodes hopping to another network. The theoretical research and experiment on the interference of IEEE 802.15.4 network under WLAN,Bluetooth and wireless USB were carried out respectively and specific influence on IEEE 802.15.4 network was represented. This thesis also researched and designed a multi-channel method based on ZigBee orphan nodes hopping to another channel when communication quality degrades seriously. This design ensures that the orphan nodes can join in another network in another channel rather than out of the network when the original network communication is blocked. Thus, the robustness of the network is enhanced. It's meaningful for coexistence of different devices in 2.4GHz,the robustness of ZigBee Network and the communication quality of ZigBee Network under the interference.
