With the development of microwave technology over these years,Waveguide power dividers,as the power of microwave components,can be allocated and synthesis in radar array and defense weapons and other fields have indispensable status,in the construction of satellite communication system and the environment in the field of remote sensing,plays an indispensable position,especially in need of power communication system using waveguide power splitters to power synthesis is directly related to the whole system can achieve maximum power.Waveguide power splitters indices such as isolation degree phase consistency directly related to high power performance of the satellite communication system.And in high frequency band,and even when the millimeter wave band,choose to make the power splitters from waveguide is our number one priority.Although now the microwave circuit for ease of integration trend of development,But the high power waveguide power dividers with low insertion loss and high frequency produced by other structures of power splitters irreplaceable role.So research the waveguide power splitters has very important significance.As many scholars on the research of the waveguide power splitters,make its have made considerable development.But it also has some problems,such as isolation degree is not good,because of the three-dimensional structure and unfavorable processing etc.So the purpose of this paper is under the condition of each index in the guarantee superior performance,compact structure design to processing of the waveguide power dividers.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,introduced the domestic and foreign development present situation and the development of all kinds of power dividers process,analysis of some of the problems that exist,then analyses some often used in actual engineering three port power dividers and four ports power dividers.Secondly,Designed a E plane waveguide power dividers: use of waveguide width edge no current flows through the characteristic,it designed with wide edge symmetry structure makes it can be put aside,along the width in a certain extent,can reduce the error of the design and processing.Thirdly design and processing a Ku band four ports power splitters,matching with the ladder structure,can make it across the bandwidth indicators are superior performance and made the quasi plane structure and make the structure more compact and easy processing.
