In the microwave and millimeter wave passive circuit, power dividers and filtersare the key components of microwave and millimeter-wave systems, they play a crucialrole in the performance of the overall system performance. With the social development, the demand for microwave and millimeter wave circuits is miniaturization, highintegration, high reliability and high performance. This dissertation is an investigationof Microwave and millimeter-wave power divider and filter based on some nearlypopular transmission structure. At the beginning of this dissertation, the research background of microwave powerdivider which is based on the oversized coaxial waveguide and substrate integratedwaveguide and filter beased on Conductor backed coplanar waveguide is presented.Secondly, the system program designed for the required targets is shown. In the chapter II, an improved1to4power divider based on oversized-coaxialwaveguide, radial waveguide and rectangular waveguide is presented. The testingresults display that the tested-15dB return loss bandwidth is approximately from24to34GHz and the insertion loss fluctuates between6.12dB-6.5dB. This structure hasproperties of not only a wide band, low insertion loss, but also a small size, a highpower combining efficiency and efficient heat sinking. In the chapter III, a1to2substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) broadband powerdivider is designed. The testing results display that the tested-15dB return lossbandwidth is approximately from23.8to32GHz and the insertion loss fluctuatesbetween6.12dB-6.5dB. This structure has properties of not only a wide band, lowinsertion loss and strong anti-jamming capability. In chapter IV, Two CBCPW bandpass filters are designed. The testing results showthat the3dB bandwidth of the first filter is about1.4GHz and the filter has3dB lowinsertion loss at peak transmission of about36.5GHz. The testing results show that the3dB bandwidth of the other filter is about0.6GHz and the filter has4.2dB low insertionloss at peak transmission of about36GHz. This structure is easy to be integrated withhigh frequency IC circuit.
