Modern wireless communication system has the characteristics of high data rate and coexistence of various communication standards.Based on the characteristics of modern wireless communication system,this thesis provides a design of the 2 × 2 radio frequency circuit with wide carrier frequency coverage.Besides,some of the key technologies of the radio frequency circuit are researched and verified in this thesis.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly,the developing directions and characteristics of the modern wireless communication system are summarized.According to the trend of the RF circuit development,this thesis introduces the characteristics and advantages/disadvantages of the transceivers which were commonly used in the modern wireless communication system.Secondly,key parameters of this RF circuit are analyzed and given according to the 3GPP LTE standards.It is determined that the gain of the transmission link is greater than 30 dB and the ACLR is less than-33 dBc in the wide frequency range of 30MHz~3GHz;and the gain of the receive link greater than 70 dB and the noise figure is less than 5dB in the wide frequency range of 30MHz~3GHz.And a hybrid structure which combines with the superheterodyne structure and the zero-IF structure is designed in order to achieve the wide carrier frequency coverage.Again,according to the specific plan of implemention,devices of the RF circuit are selected and analysed in detail.The performance indexes of the whole transceiver link are estimated according to the performance parameters of the devices.Then,transceiver module,power management module,local oscillator circuit and control circuit are designed.Finally,after testing the RF circuit,the gain of the transmission link is 31.5dB typically and the typical test value of ACLR is-35 dBc in the wide frequency range of 30MHz~3GHz both chanel.The gain of the receive link is 71 dB typically and the noise figure is 4.3dB typically in the wide frequency range of 30MHz~3GHz both channel.The typical test value of phase noise is-91.2d Bc@offset 10 kHz.In general,this RF circuit's performances are verified.This thesis proposes a hybrid structure combined with superheterodyne structure and the zero-IF structure.The 2×2 wide carrier frequency coverage RF circuit is designed and verified.This circuit provides a hardware platform for the software defined radio system.Besides,This thesis provides a engineering implementation example for the research of software defined radio system in wireless communication system.
