Network traffic is increasing so rapidly,and traditional network architecture becomes more and more difficult to meet the needs.ICN,information-based,can adapt to the change.However,existing network infrastructure can not support the implementation of it directly.SDN provides a new idea for it.POF can support any custom protocols and help SDN get rid of IP.POF-ICN,a POF-based ICN architecture,can realize information-based routing and forwarding and provide flexible programming ability for the control plane.It can be specified and implemented to meet different needs of custom control strategies.This dissertation did research on caching in POF-ICN.In ICN,cache becomes a universal topic.Most of researchers do researches on in-network caching,and they have neglected the diversity and difference of services types in the network.Therefore,taking differences of services into consideration is necessary.This dissertation analyzes features of representative services and allocates different cache area for each service.At the same time,a method,based on hit ratio and utilization of each area,to adjust the size of each partition dynamically is proposed.Furthermore,for better performance,this dissertation proposes a probabilistic-based selective cache policy and differentiated replacement scheme.The former takes benefits of cache system into consideration.It can help nodes select appropriate contents with probability to cache,and probability is relevant to nature of contents and location of nodes.For different partitions,the latter allows nodes to implement differentiated replacement.A relative priority policy can help the partition with two or more services to evict inappropriate content.It ensures that different services can share limited cache resources reasonably.Finally,this dissertation expands the structure of node by adding a new module,cache index table.Along the path,some nodes should add relative table entry to make cache visible,so that requesters can get the content more quickly.According to experimental results,the scheme,based on differentiated services,performs better in terms of hit rate,hops and so on.And the proposed scheme of cache decision and replacement is also more effective.These schemes has some reference value for caching researches based-on different services in ICN.
