Being a new additive manufacture technology,SLM rapid prototyping technology has been rising in manufacturing.Aiming to design and develop a set of control system for SLM equipment combined with the independent development of SLM molding equipment mechanical structure,which has simple structure,SLM technology is studied and analyzed.First of all,through introducing the structure principle of SLM molding equipment,the control system for SLM equipment with AMCP controller as the core was put forward,which based on the existing SLM equipment control scheme.Secondly,in the aspect of hardware,the SLM equipment control system had been designed and equipped with the corresponding driving actuator.The two-dimensional galvanometer scanning control unit,the laying powder control unit,the laser control unit,the temperature control unit and the inert gas protection unit are designed,constituting a modular CNC system.Once again,in the aspect of software,through using C# language as the tool,a fully functional HMI was developed in accordance with the detailed software control flow chart based on the SLM molding process,the Lua script program which implements the process control function of each hardware component is written.At the same time,the user management module of the control system software is constructed,which realizes the unified management of the equipment user information.The control system for SLM molding equipment has simple structure and strong operation,system configuration hardware components could be conveniently achieved because AMCP controller integrates a variety of module.To achieve communication through the use of OPC-UA technology,data integrity and security has been guaranteed during the running of SLM equipment.The design and development of HMI is friendly,and each functional control module operation can be coordinated in accordance with SLM molding process.
