The traditional mast attitude test method has the disadvantages like high cost,low precision,poor real-time and difficult to digitalize.Since the new century,with the propulsion of automation,information and intelligence,the new battlefield environment puts forward new requirements for the work attitude test system of photoelectric mast.Therefore,the main purpose of this paper is to study the attitude test technology of photoelectric mast,and to explore a low cost and high precision photoelectric mast attitude test method.This paper presents a new test method of attitude of photoelectric mast by analyzing the principle and method of object attitude testing commonly used at home and abroad.The method uses two inertial measurement units placed at both the top of the mast and the bottom of the mast to collect the attitude data of the top and bottom of the photoelectric mast in working,and then use the mast attitude calculation algorithm to solve the working attitude of the mast(twist angle ? and tilt angle ?).Based on the basic principle of object attitude calculation,this paper introduces the design method of the attitude test system of photoelectric mast.Based on the coordinate transformation theory,the mast attitude algorithm is deduced and the model of mast attitude is established.Then,attitude calculation conditioning board based on STM32 and related program is designed.Finally,the experimental of the photoelectric mast attitude test system designed in this paper is carried out and the test results are analyzed.The experimental results show that the design of the photoelectric mast attitude test system is reasonable and the hardware and software work is stable and reliable.The measurement range can reach the ±16°,meanwhile the accuracy of the twist angle and the tilt angle can reach the 3mrad successfully meeting the technical requirement.
