Deformation Transfer(DT)is to transfer the deformation of source mesh to the target mesh,so that the target mesh has similar deformation.DT is a reuse technology of mesh deformation, and plays an important role in extending the database of 3D mesh models,3D animation and simulation. In Bibliography[1]DT is proposed for triangle meshes by Sumner. He made use of the correspondence between source mesh and target mesh to build a linear system and get the deformed target meshes. But DT transfers the triangle gradient of source mesh to corresponded triangle of target mesh only, the result of DT will be artificial and unnatural, because of the change of mesh volume. To solve this problem,we use the method of ARAP proposed by Bib-liography[2],which is used to make a keeping-rigidity deformation, and present a method named AR AP-DT(As-rigid-as-possible Deformation Trans-fer),to keep the rigidity while transfering deformation. Our method preserve the detail and the rigidity of target mesh.We will show our result and compare them with the result of Deforma-tion Transfer from two aspects:mesh details and RMS error.
