With the popularization of wireless communication services in the world,the development of wireless communication technology is increasing,and the rapid increase in the number of users for wireless communication needs and quality of data service put forward the higher requirements,which result in the scarcity of radio spectrum resources.As a kind of spectrum sensing technology,cognitive radio can effectively improve the spectrum usage probability of the system and meet the diverse needs of different users.In this paper,we propose a cognitive radio system model based on the higher activity of the primary user,and analyze the related works.Firstly,this paper introduces the background of the research,and some key technologies of spectrum sensing and spectrum sharing in cognitive radio.Secondly,for the stochastic process of the channel state in the high activity of the primary user,a new discrete model is established.Analysis of the change of channel state in cognitive system by using transition probability,through different channel state of the sensing period,the channel state of cognitive user in a whole frame structure is divided into four types,and the probability and throughput of the new formula is derived one by one,meanwhile,considering the influence of the detection probability of the system model.In the simulation,the cognitive user throughput and the sensing time tradeoff are compared under different influence,and the simulation results are analyzed.Thirdly,considering the limitation of energy resource and spectrum resource in communication system,in order to optimize the resource efficiency,the energy efficiency and spectral efficiency performance index in the cognitive communication system are discussed.In this paper,a joint optimization method is proposed to balance the energy efficiency and spectral efficiency of cognitive radio model,so that the communication system can be optimized according to the actual situation.In the simulation results,the relationship between energy efficiency and spectral efficiency is compared and analyzed.At the end of this paper,the whole work is summarized and the future research directions are prospected.
