With the increasingly severe of global energy issues and rapid development of wireless data services,the energy issues and spectrum utilization of the communication network is more and more compelling.The design and deployment of traditional network is generally based on a uniform cellular structure.A lot of energy resources and spectrum resources in fact have not been fully utilized.In order to cope with the shortage of the spectrum and energy consumption with the rapid growth of wireless data services,we must review the existing information and communication systems from the perspective of energy efficiency and spectral efficiency jointly.We need to use related technologies and methods to improve the utilization efficiency of network energy and spectrum.With the development and expansion of green energy harvesting technologies,the introduction of green energy in a communication network will become a trend in the future of wireless communications design.In the green-energy environment,to research the trade-off relationship between energy efficiency and spectral efficiency and achieve a jointly optimization of them will have very important implications for the green communications network in the future.The main work and achievements are as follows:(1)We studied the trade-off relationship between energy efficiency and spectral efficiency,and analyzed the effects of different emphasis on the energy efficiency and spectral efficiency in the green energy network.We firstly derived and analyzed the relationship between energy efficiency and spectral efficiency based on the model of green base stations and green energy in the ideal case and the green energy environment case.Then we studied the energy distribution scheduling by combine energy efficiency and spectral efficiency based on the above analysis,and studied the impact on the overall system performance with the dynamics factors and the different emphasis on EE and SE.The results of simulation show that the system performance is not monotonic increasing with the transmit power,and the results of energy distribution are very different with different emphasis on EE and SE.(2)To response the concept of green communications,we studied the energy scheduling policies in the multi-cell cellular network with the hybrid energy sources.We considered the transmission requirements of users and the limit of base station energy,and proposed an energy scheduling strategy to put a priority of energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption of traditional energy to maximize the energy efficiency and minimize the conventional energy consumption.The results of simulation show that the strategy can make the base station consumed green energy preferentially,and improve the efficiency of energy utilization.
