Telecommunications operator of traditional access network is mainly used to access the public voice and ordinary broadband business,but which limited by the distance of copper cable transmission.so the coverage radius of traditional access network is smaller than others(less than 2 km).Because of the number of access users are less and the low volume,maintenance level is not high and almost nobody on duty.With the general requirements of the national optical network construction,China Unicom Group rebuild the original copper network with fiber-optic which change the original switch end and structure of access network in recent years.Benefitting from the advantages of optical signal transmission distance,access equipment coverage has been a large expansion(the coverage radius can be 15 to 20 km),and the traditional access network closed to the user is canceled and merged so the high convergence of the new access network which the business volume accessed increasing dramatically comes into being.In order to ensure network to run credibly which needs to improve the maintenance level,but the formation of the traditional maintenance system over the years can not be applied to new access points which need to higher maintenance level on duty.According to maintenance experience for many years,fault of power system accounted for more than 80% of all access network fault which concluded that it is necessary for the power system to deploy monitoring and early warning system.At present,the telecom-level monitoring manufacturers include Emerson,Datang,Rongzhi Xinghua,Beijing De Ran,etc.which providing city power monitoring,battery monitoring,smoke detection,flooding,access control and video monitoring.The more functions,the more investment.To this end,it is practical and necessary to study a worksheet management system that has a low cost and can collect the power information based on the present network equipment.Through the analysis of the research,OLT or MAN switches(hereinafter referred to as access network equipment)in the existing optical access network system have redundant Ethernet ports(optical ports or electrical ports)and connected to these interfaces of the device power-down will be detected by the interface.According to that,power failure in time can be found by developing of a polling system to achieve automatic detection of this interface and then analysis changes of the interface status.Through the network management centralized monitoring station which combined with SMS alerts,can ensure the maintenance personnel arrived at the scene to complete the power generation before battery reaches the discharge limit so that ensure the normal operation of equipment.In order to achieve the goals of research,this paper mainly completed the following two research tasks: First,the design of underlying layer module which including the status of specific interface scanning and storage in the access network equipment,achieve the function of SMS alerts.Second,the design of application layer module,including data analysis and function display.In the design of the underlying layer module,this paper is based on the PON network structure of Chaoyang Unicom,and introducing the tools used,the programming language,the exploration script and so on in details.The problems and solution in access network equipment frequently landing are discussed in detail when developing system.In the design of application layer module,this paper is based on the current status and function of power monitoring system of China Unicom which combining with the current monitoring work flow of Chaoyang Unicom,then researching in detail and designing the function for the Monitoring terminal which discussed development of function in this paper.In the process of study and design,it is necessary to solve the key problems such as equipment state acquisition of access network,automatic SMS alters and the application design of monitoring terminal,and looking for a great deal of literature and data at the same time.In the stage of equipment state acquisition,the network management system which is separated from the access network equipment is considered for the complete development firstly.It needs to fully understand the electrical properties of the related interface and the physical layer definition of the access network equipment,and the developed application is stable,function integrity,high efficiency and so on.But the development cost is too high and the cycle is longer.After comprehensive comparison,using the existing telnet login tool to develop and design based on the network management system of existing access network instead of complete development from physical layer.The function of automatic SMS alters is easy to achieve,using SMS send terminal of the company named WAVECOM,which had been applicated in the previous project development.Application design of monitor terminal determines the final user experience,in the design phase of this part of the program,the monitoring function of other dynamic monitoring system is fully used,and the specific modules of this part are summarized according to the existing work flow and requirements which be foundation for the success of the study.
