Study On The Symbolic Communication In The Internet Collective Behavior

Due to the popularity of the development and application of Internet technology,Internet users' activities have become more frequently in the network virtual space than before,resulting in the unstable network cluster behavior from "intermittent outbreak" to "frequently arising".The significance of social organization and emotional mobilization of emoticons has been fully embodied in the "Facebook expression war".Symbolic communication of the network cluster behavior is a new phenomenon derived from the age of the Internet.Furthermore,semiology,regarded as "the queen of explanatory science and the key of making sense”,is a tool of social science,which has a strong explanatory power to the communication of the network cluster behavior.In the symbolic communication of network cluster behavior,the functions of symbols,which include building communication rules,producing meaning and remodeling culture,contribute to analyzing the deep structure of network cluster behavior and revealing the causes of network cluster behavior in the perspective of tools.This research will use a case study as a whole.Firstly the author will present the phenomenon of symbolic communication of network cluster behavior,and then analyze and summarize the characteristics of symbolic behavior cluster in stage of China's network communication,which include multiple symbol elements making the communication operation,copy symbols upgrade making the communication radiation spreading more widely,symbolic communication reshaping the network culture.Moreover,this essay will make the integrated use of a variety of scientific methods to thickly analyze the process of production and digestion of the symbolic denotation and connotation.Seizing the significance of symbols by means of constructing the LDA topic model;summarizing the selection rules of the symbolic significance by means of content analysis;exploring the process of symbolic producing significance within communication by means of non-structural interview and Sina micro-blog sample analysis;observing and analyzing the changes of the symbols within network collective behavior issues in communication interaction and issue resolution mechanism by using the virtual ethnography Methods.This essay will summarize regulation of the main symbols in the network cluster behavior within the construction of communication.And public opinion is the internal motive of the game mechanism of the formation,the development of the Internet is its technical support.Finally,basing on the analysis of symbolic network cluster behavior in communication can sum up the potential positive social effect and negative social effects,and try to give some reasonable suggestions and methods respectively upon the different aspects of audience,media and management.
