The Design And Implementation Of Library Management System

With the coming of the new century,the traditional technology has been slowly replaced by leaps and bounds in the information technology,the old management system and the system also have been unable to meet the needs of new times book management.Library as an information resource center,which has numerous books and user's information,it contains a lot of information and data management.Today,a lot of libraries are used by manual operations,not even the use of computer information management.So the construction of a library management system has become the key to efficiently manage the books and materials.Firstly,this thesis investigates and analyzes the current situation about the library information and management status,combined with the use of computer and network communication technology,and the use of information technology related to the level of skill,and then summarizes the current situation and future development trend.By comparing B/S and C/S mode,it decides to choose B/S as the design scheme of library management system.In this paper,through the analysis of the library business process,it completes the requirement analysis,functional analysis and database design of the library management system,and finally achieve the detailed design and application development.Finally,according to the current famous B/S program framework,this paper has developed a new library management system based on ASP.NET technology.System is used by the two types of users: ordinary users and administrators.Ordinary users can conduct book search,borrow,returning operation.The administrator can achieve book search,add,delete,modify and refresh operation.In addition,the system can provide the printing reports of books and other information.A complete library management system can make the work of library management more standardization,more systematic,more methodize,and avoid arbitrariness in the library management.In addition,it can improve the information processing speed and accuracy to timely,accurate and effective query and modify the library books management operation.
