The remote experiment system,which is applied the computer technology to,not only make the experiment teching more flexible and break the limits of time and space,but also make the laboratory resources sharing bestly.With combining the remote control technology and FPGA experiment,the paper study and design the remote FPGA experiment system based on ARM,which realized the remote interaction with FPGA hardware experiment.The thesis firstly analyzes the background and significance of the research,and summarizes the lasted development of remote experiment system and its related technologies.Comining with the characteristics of the FPGA experiment,we propose the idea to using ARM to design the remote FPGA experiment system.Then,the paper design the whole architecture of the remote experiment system,including the server,the PC client,the ARM client and the FPGA experiment circuit module,after analyzing the system's function and performance requirments.The thesis design the hardware circuit of the system,including the core board supporting circuit,power supply circuit,Ethernet circuit,FPGA configurate circuit,and FPGA experiment module circuit.And the detailed circuit principle of each circuit module is introduced,then the whole PCB board and the product of the circuit is displayed.After the design of the hardware,the software development is elaborated,including the build of the software environment,the driver's development and the application programming.The driver program includes the FPGA configuration driver,virtual input device driver and virtual output device driver.The applications include the init procedure,main program,FPGA configuration program,virtual switches and keys operation procedures and the state collection program.To make sure the transmission of the information correctly,a custom-protocol is designed.The paper debugs the hardware and software's function and the system's whole performanceonthe finished experiment board.The hardware's debugs include the test of the power supply module,the JTAG configuration test on the FPGA and the local FPGA experiment test.The tests of the software's function include the remote configuration of FPGA and the performance of the whole system,including the server,the PC client and the ARM client.The experiment's results show that remote experiment system can finish the remote experiment and work correctly and reliably both on hardware and software.Finally,the thesis summarizes and analyzes the whole system and points out its characteristics and shortcomings,and prospects the development of the future remote experiment system.
