Photography which has always been applied to the engineering practice is an important direction in recent years,with the development of science and technology,the measurement level and accuracy requirements has been greatly improved compared to those before.Photogrammetry has many advantages,such as large amount of data,simple and convenient operation,and non-contact measurement.Traditional methods of photogrammetry can be basically divided into two categories:monocular camera photogrammetry and binocular camera photogrammetry.Nowadays,research on monocular and binocular measurement has become more and more mature,and the advantages and disadvantages of them are relatively fixed,but when it comes to large measurement field,the two relatively traditional surveying methods still have some limitations.This requires us to introduce other photogrammetric models to deal with these problems.In this paper,we propose a multi-camera coordinate measurement technique.This technology relies on a key transit station system to achieve the measurement of large field of the oberserved object.The operation is simple and the accuracy is also in line with the requirements of the industry.Meanwhile,we have developed a set of software measurement and control system,which can be used to facilitate the measurement of the target object.This paper will discuss the research background of the project,multiple view geometry,optimization theory,camera calibration,hand eye calibration,transfer station system,the overall structure of the measuring system,software system building and experimental simulation of system in order.In the multi-view geometry,we will introduce the the relevant theory of the camera coordinate system,the camera model,the absolute two curve,the epipolar geometry and the 3D reconstruction.In the optimization theory,we will introduce the steepest descent method,Gauss Newton method and the origin of the LM algorithm as well as its corresponding characteristics.In the part of camera calibration,we will focus on Zhang's calibration algorithm and hand eye calibration algorithm.In the part of the transfer station system,we will explain the origin of the transfer station system and its derivation process.Then,in the part of the whole system,we will introduce the hardware and software system of multi camera measurement control system and its core technology.Finally,in the simulation part,we will give the relevant experimental data to support our theory and system.
