Automatic up-down manipulator is an important part of automated production line,it has significant impact on the efficiency of factories.However,in the industry for manufacturing battery,most factories still worked by hand,the porters in such a situation of heavy work,low efficiency and frequently accidents.Therefore,it is urgent to develop an automatic manipulator,which can assist the process of up-down batteries.This paper fully discussed the current states and existing technology of manipulator all over the world,and carried on a deep analysis on the structure and controlling accuracy,presented an program of automatic manipulator for up-down batteries,achieved the requirements:According to the actual working condition of the up-down manipulator,confirming its parameters.Determining the overall program and the specific mechanical structure of the manipulator by analyzing and comparing the program of putting and transmission,finished the three-dimensional modeling by the software of Pro/e.In order to solve the positioning accuracy of this manipulator,based on the theory of finite element analysis to check the stiffness and strength of the force components.Selected the motor by the situation of load,and selected the OMRON CP1H-X40TD-D Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)as the motion controller for this manipulator,designed the control circuit,programmed the control program of operation for this manipulator,achieved the control for working process.At last,designed the human-computer interface for the touch screen,installed and debugged the automatic up-down manipulator,verified the feasible of the manipulator by its running process,achieved the requirements of design.The realization of this manipulator greatly reduced the work of the operators and the rate of working accident,enhanced the economic efficiency of the enterprises.
