Implementation of target-background database system and research on project-modeling of target surface temperature,can provide not only data support for infrared dynamic battlefield simulation training platform,but also direct input for evaluation and simulation so that great improvement of the success-rate and speed of target recognition can be acquired.This paper,following the principle and method of database,information engineering and software engineering,designed and also build a target-background database system which includes the database,management system and application system.At the same time,the paper made a research on the project-modeling of plate surface temperature.The main work contains the following aspects:Firstly,based on infrared characteristic results researched by our group and other related information,the paper,built and bettered the target-background database which includes experimental data,simulated data,target characteristic,background characteristic,meteorological data,solar irradiation data,atmospheric radiative transfer calculations,material information,user information,etc.On the foundation of former database,the paper designed and built the database management system which functioned for data operation and system protection.Secondly,the paper designed and built database application system which includes image processing,MODTRAN atmospheric radiative transfer calculation and solar radiation calculation.Image processing achieved the function of geometry transform,stitching and standardizing for infrared image of multiple formats.Thirdly,considering almost all the internal factors,environmental conditions and background difference,the paper established the model of plate temperature,and then simplifed the thermal balance equation by using mathematical derivation and analyzing value selection.The paper,by using control variable method,analyzed the influence of solar radiation,plate material parameters and target internal conditions on rate of plate temperature change.The paper also focused on fitting-work for daily variation expression of atmospheric temperature,relative humidity and wind speed in NanJing area,and semi-empirical expression of plate surface's instantaneous temperature.Then reliability of the semi-empirical expression was verified by using empirical data and simulated data.Finally,the paper acquired armored vehicle's surface temperature distribution,by using the semi-empirical expression.
