As front-line firefighters,they usually face some dangerous situations,such as high temperature,smoke,gas,flames,explosion and physical exhaustion.In this case,if we are able to monitor the physiological indicators of firefighters in real time,and can transmit data to the external command vehicle,it will play a vital role in the life safety of firefighters.In addition,with the rapid development of society,the population aging degree is constantly increasing,while the number of Empty Nester also increased,the consequences is that when these old people's body are suddenly abnormal,due to physical reasons,they often can not take effective independent alarm,that will lead to miss the best rescue time,and to make their life in danger.Therefore,it is very important to use the current technology to realize the vital signs monitoring system which has the functions of data monitoring,data storage,historical inquiry and emergency alarm.Vital signs monitoring system can be divided into upper computer,ARM server and monitoring node,and it mainly uses the wireless sensor network technology,sensor technology,computer technology and communication technology.ARM server is the hub of the system,its role is to ensure that the host computer and monitoring nodes can exchange information.PC machine is mainly used for monitoring,it can get data from the server through the network,and the monitoring node is mainly responsible for data collection,and using the technology of wireless sensor network to upload data to the server,the monitoring node can achieve network,which can increase the flexibility and expand the transmission range.This paper describes the design of the various parts of the system,including the hardware circuit design,the development of related software.In addition,the configuration of related software is briefly introduced,at the same time,this paper also introduces the communication protocol between the ARM server and the monitoring node,and the communication between the ARM server and PC.Finally,the debugging of the system and some problems and solutions are introduced.
