Humans and wild animals are the higher organisms on earth, and their survival and development are closely linked to each other. In addition, humans in the entire ecosystem are able to achieve harmonious development and constant progress, but only if the the existence of wild animals is under no threat and remains stable. Therefore, the protection of wild animals is related to the long-term development of human society. For more convenient observation of wild animals’ life condition, we need to collect the information of it, especially the effective collection of their living state. This project is aimed to provide the exact information for the worker and researchers of animals protection, so as to facilitate the modernization of wild animals’ management and statistics, providing help and strategies for researching the habits of animals. The main contents are as follows:(1) designed a wildlife vital signs monitoring system. Based on wearable technology and remote monitoring technology, according to the requirements of practical application scenarios, we designed a wearable remote communications hardware terminal. On one hand, we can collect wildlife vital signs data and location information precisely. On the other hand,we can transmit those data to the remote monitoring center via wireless communication and complete the wildlife real-time monitoring of vital signs.(2) the software part of the system was optimized. The algorithm for signal acquisition and data transmission have been designed and optimized. we can achieve efficient heart rate signal processing and analysis, improve the efficiency of data transmission, and save storage space and transmission costs.By adopting the main module verification and overall system performance, tests of the system show that it can realize collection of the heart rate signal and geographic information from the target wild animals, and transmit the collection to the server through wireless communication technology. Then, the server can accurately receive and store the data collection, and carry out subsequent statistics and analysis, completing real-time remote monitoring of vital signs of wildlife. |
