Along with the development of industry technology.the developing of fiber lasers also take a huge leap forward and being applied in various fields of industrial production such as telemetering,medical equipment,material processing and advanced weapon system.Owing to the operating characteristics of laser,it require high performance and capability of the power supply.Therefore the research of laser power supply.as a important part of the whole laser system.has received more an more attention.Compared with traditional power supply,digital power supply useing embedded technology to achieve the digital control,thus enhanced the reliability and immunity to interference of power supply,improved the precision and stability of control system.Digital power supply also can support digital communication,can be remote controled by the upper monitor,it can contribute to a intergrated system.Digital power supply gradually replace traditional power has become a trend.Based on a vehicle-mounted laser weapon system project on researching,after analysed the operating principle and development requirements of the power supply of fiber lazer,decided to adopt switching power supply to replace the traditional low transfer efficiency lazer power supply which used constant-current circuit,then raises the battle effectiveness of lazer weapon system.This paper design a digital power supply for fiber laser.which adopted ZVZCS full-bridge DC-DC converter which used limited bipolar control mode as its main circuit topology,adopted PIC 18 microcontroller as its MCU.According to the general design scheme and follow the developing steps of switching power,design the all module circuit of digital power supply,including main ciruit,auxiliary power ciruit,acquisition ciruit,MCU ciruits and protection ciruit,etc.To meet the requirement of the development of digital control,based on Small-signal modeling of BUCK chopper,used effective duty ratio to derive the modeling of ZVZCS full-bridge DC-DC converter which used limited bipolar control mode,to provide a reliable modeling to the design of digital control.According to the practical needs of the project,accomplish the software design of PIC microcontroller 's all related functional modules and upper monitor module based on VxWorks embedded systems.Used physical protoyping of digital power supply for fiber laser to test the main performance indexes,including output control accuracy,ripple factor and transfer efficiency.The results of test demonstrate this digital power's all performance indexes meet the design requirment,able to used in practical application.has reference value to the development of digital power supply.
