Mobile IPv6(MIPv6)is a protocol is an improvement of the original IPv6 protocol,and it provides mobility features for IPv6 nodes.With the development of mobile network,there has been increasing attention and research to MIPv6 protocol,while the MIPv6 security has become one of the main restricting factor of MIPv6.Among all the security threats to MIPv6,secure mobility management is one of the most significant point for MIPv6.Traditional MIPv6 uses IPSec and RR to protect the mobility management.However both of the two security mechanisms have their own flaws.The dependence on the mechanism of the pre-shared key or certification limits the application of IPSec protocol,while RR Test doesn't offer identity authentication between the communication node and the mobile node.Identity-Based Cryptography is a relatively young research area of cryptography.In IBC,any string could be regarded as user's public key.Usually the strings can define the user's identity uniquely,such as user's ID,IP address or Email address.IBC is widely used in mobile network,avoiding the defects of Certificate-Based Cryptography.We proposes a secure mobility management scheme for MIPv6 with Identity-Based Cryptography.In the scheme we describe the system structure,trust model,system initialization and secure mobility management scheme intra and cross domain in detail.We implement IBC algorithms,simple process of MIPv6,and simple IPSec protocol using C/C++under Linux system.In the system,we use TCP Socket and EPOLL model to implement message communication among nodes.Raw Socket is used to construct,send and receive packets.And IBC algorithms are implemented with the help of PBC and GMP library.Finally we use NS2 to implement the simulation of the scheme.This paper proposes an improvement scheme for the original method based on IBC,to protect the communication signaling messages in mobility management for MIPv6.The results of simulation show that the scheme offers more efficiency and safety.
