With the development of international shipping market,the number of ships,single ship tonnage and traffic density increasing.the world maritime traffic more and more crowded,maritime accidents occurred frequently,which has brought a huge threat to the maritime safety of life,property and the marine environment.The RADAR and AIS provides effective information security for the safety of ship navigation,but due to the influence of the working mechanism of RADAR and AIS itself and the environment,the quality and reliability of information has many defects.The analysis shows that the advantages and disadvantages of the RADAR and AIS compensatory strong,this is the basic purpose of RADAR and AIS data fusion research in recent years.In this paper,the RADAR and AIS target tracking information of the ship are fully collected in the actual navigation environment,and analysis of the characteristics of the information quality evaluation,according to the contents and characteristics of RADAR and AIS target tracking information and the characteristics of the actual navigation environment and the target environment of the ship,A multi factor track correlation algorithm is proposed based on the multi factor track association and the track trend under a dense target environment,and adopts weighted algorithm based on track quality to track fusion.The main research contents include the following aspects.First,the pretreatment of information:This paper according to the different of the various sensor information acquisition time,time reference,evaluation of information space,information representation methods and standards,Prior to the information processing,the preparation of the information,the realization of the unity of time and alignment,dimensional unity and coordinate.Two,track association processing:Research of track association algorithm based on multiple factors,A multi factor track correlation algorithm is proposed based on the multi factor track association and the track trend in the dense environment.firstly,using multiple factors(position,course,speed etc.)gate method for the preliminary judgment of relevance,and then using the track correlation algorithm for final trend correlation judgment.Three,track fusion processing:According to the target tracking information content and characteristics of RADAR and AIS,A weighted track fusion algorithm based on track quality is studied,The algorithm can adjust the weighting coefficients according to the quality of the track,Thus,the track of the system obtained by the fusion process is higher than that of the single track.Four,the experimental verification system:Using the actual RADAR and AIS track data,the validity and usability of the proposed algorithm is analyzed,and the results show that the algorithm is correct and feasible.
