Nowadays, cloud computing is one of the most popular technologies. By using cloud computing, the traditional manual IT infrastructure supply can be changed to automatic and on-demand supply, which can save human resources. At the same time, by using virtualization technology, cloud computing can virtual out many virtual machines for different users, which could improve the resource utilization, reduce the maintenance costs.In this paper, OpenStack is used to build a private cloud platform. The default configuration of Openstack can'nt deal with the problem of large-scale deployment. Some new solutions are provided, and can improve the performance of Openstack. At the same time, Comparison of KVM, XEN and ESXi in Performance is done, according to the overall performance scoring, KVM is choosed.High Available is one of the most effective means of preventing the core computer system's downtime. Active-Passive mode is widely used in Openstack production, it is also the program provided by the Openstack community. But in Active-Passive mode, we need to maintain one or more additional resources. When the primary service fails, the backup service may startup delay and even fail. In this paper, haproxy+ keepalived is used to implement the Active-Active mode. In this mode, it doesn't need backup service, all resources are in Active statethat. When a fault occurs, it can quickly switch and migrate, effectively improve system resource utilization.Default scheduling algorithm of OpenStack is only based on the remaining memory, but it is unable to meet the practical application of the demand for CPU resources. In this paper, scheduling algorithm and implementation process of OpenStack is researched. We add Zone filter and variate (CPU utilization), and improved the resource utilization of OpenStack cluster and loadbalancd OpenStack private cloud.In this paper, enterprise private cloud deployment is realized through OpenStack. KVM is selected as the underlying virtualization software. Detailed solutions of installation problems encountered during deployment OpenStack is provided. High availability and scheduling algorithm of OpenStack is in-depth study.
