With the rapid development of cloud computing technology,OpenStack as an international cloud computing open source project in the field of cloud computing commercial scale is also growing.Diversified application requirements enable users to cloud platform to provide quality of service,performance,reliability,and put forward higher requirements.OpenStack introduced a DVR(Distributed Virtual Routing)network architecture for high traffic,high bandwidth,high reliability applications.At present,distributed virtual routing network architecture has not only become a research hotspot,but also has been adopted by many data centers.At the same time,after the DVR architecture is deployed,the virtual machine can not only access the external network through the network node but also access the external network through its computing nodes.The complicated network traffic path leads to the difficulty of traffic statistics.This paper is mainly based on OpenStack network project Neutron in the DVR architecture to start the study platform to build using Mitaka version code.In this thesis,a solution to the problem of a complicated network traffic path caused by traffic passing through a network node is proposed to solve the two problems of deploying a distributed virtual route network architecture,and a high reliability solution and a statistic A Statistical Method for Virtual Machine to Access External Network in DVR Mode.The main content of the study and innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)Detailed analysis of the types of services provided by neutron,service framework and the implementation of the physical node network.(2)In view of the complex flow path under the DVR framework,the flow is divided i nto east-west and North-South two categories,including north-south floating IP,South IP,non floating things are analyzed in detail to the flow of three cases.(3)Virtual machine for DVR architecture can not only access through the network nodes but also through the computing nodes to access,network traffic complexity caused by traffic statistics difficult.Using the original Neutron service framework,L3 Metering function and combined with Celiomter's data statistics function to achieve virtual machine bound floating IP access to external network traffic statistics.(4)At last,the experiment environment of multi-node physical host is set up,and the high reliability scheme and the designed flow statistics system are experimentally tested.Experiments show that the high reliability of the DVR architecture can complete the traffic switching under the fault of the network node,and the designed traffic statistics method can successfully statistic the binding of the virtual machine to the floating IP to access the external network,the statistical accuracy is 98%.
