With the explosive growth of the number of the users and the application data size, satellite communication is going through several leaping stages of development, from single satellite relay, bent pipe, low capacity to multi-satellite network, processing forwarding, intensive link, large capacity. At the same time, the ground center stations, which are used as central nodehub nodes, are improving into a new and better direction that can support multi-satellite multi-link,high bandwidth transmission and large capacity network. However, traditional satellite acceleration device cannot meet the demand of the high concurrent users who work under the star satellite network architecture. So based on the special need of the satellite communication and the need of the high concurrent users I mentioned above,my research is about the technology of high-speed satellite cloud acceleration which depends on the cloud computing. At the very beginning of my research,I state the technology of traditional satellite acceleration, the features of satellite channel as well as the methods of acceleration technique. At the same time,I also state the architecture design of traditional TCP acceleration module. Then starting with the current situation of the development of satellite communication,I state the accelerated processing mode which is used by all the ground center stations at the moment cannot satisfy the expedite processing of the large capacity center stations.Therefore,cloud-based acceleration technology appears. My research contains several aspects, such as cloud-based acceleration on the cloud computing platform and the Network Functions Virtualization under the framework of Network Virtualization NFV,which can be realized by multiple network devices such as the router, access adapter,IP accelerator, applied accelerator and cyber-security device and so on that can possibly exist in ground center stations. On the cloud-based platform, data sending and receiving needs pass through several process flows which include I/O channel,Host kernel protocol stack and virtualization layer, and it may lead to CPU expensive operationstime-consuming operation process which results from mass system interrupt,Kernel context switch, memory replication, virtualization encapsulating and unencapsulating and so on.Because of this,I have to do some interface optimization.Owing to the fact that TCP acceleration may have an influence on the serial data processing mechanism of TCP persistent connection,I put forward my research on resource scheduling which is based on TCP persistent connection. At last,I set up an experiment-testing platform to do a comparison test on traditional acceleration device and cloud-based acceleration platform. As a result,I make a conclusion that after interface optimization, the cloud-based acceleration platform can meet the need of the high concurrent users who work under the satellite network infrastructure.
