Wireless sensor networks(WSN)are forefront of hot research areas in the international community of currently concerned,involving a highly crossed subject and highly integrated knowledge,and it is recognized as one of the most influential technologies in 21 century.Energy consumption is an important problem in WSN.In order to solve the problem of energy consumption fundamentally,energy harvesting-based wireless sensor networks(EH-WSN)is proposed.The main works are as follows:In radio frequency energy harvesting wireless sensor network,sensor nodes send data to sink node by Multi-hop.In order to reduce energy consumption,we reduce the communication distance between nodes,but it increases the amount of data transmission and reception for relay node.In order to reduce relay node’s network load and extend the network lifetime,we propose a Layer-Step data collection method(LSDC).By modeling the energy harvesting and energy consumption of nodes in the network,the residual energy of the node is obtained.The use of multiple “hop” command to inform the sensor nodes send their collected data to sink node step by step.We choose the best node in the energy situation as the relay node,and ultimately achieve the goal of collecting all the data in the network to the sink node efficiently.It is showed by theory analysis and emulation test that our algorithm obtains more energy efficient,energy consumption is more balanced than layer-by-layer data collection(LDC)approach and prolong the network lifetime.This dissertation designed the temperature data collection system based on wireless sensor networks,through the use of embedded system TinyOS and structured programming language nesC.System can control the wireless sensor node sensing acquisition temperature data in environment,send the data to the receiving node and display in Web.The system can be applied to indoor temperature monitoring and agricultural greenhouse temperature monitoring and other practical applications scenarios.The LSDC algorithm proposed in this dissertation can better improve the stability of the network and prolong the network lifetime,the system designed and developed by us can collect temperature data from environment accurately,providing better theoretical and application value.
