The Design And Implementation Of Notification-push Serice Of Multi-terminal Device

With the emerging of mobile internet, intelligent devices like phone and tablet, have become very important to people's daily life. it's common that more and more intelligent devices are owned by one person. Applications on these devices help users to search information, buy, photograph, talk to friends and etc. In most time, we need to transfer data between these devices, for example, phone book, game record; or we need to transfer user experience smoothly between devices, for example to move the navigation line found from a PC to mobile phone. All these requirements seem nature, but hard to implement, because it's too expensive for each application to do by itself. In operating system level, may manufactories provids their own message push service. however, considering the diversity of devices and differences between manufactory standard, one application have to support all popular devices to make device to device message possible, that brings difficulties to developing and maintenance. A feasible way is to setup a third-party message push service, which hides the difference between devices in API level, that's why many companies emerging like GeTui, JiGuang, etc. Most of these services are user-oriented, which support sending messages to their users, it's difficult to use these services to send message from one device to another device. In another side, user number grows quickly in mobile internet era, servers providing these services are under huge access pressure, we must design from low level to support good scalability. In this paper, by analyzing similar scenarios, we proposed a general communication platform with high performance and good scalability, develop tookits for devices and servers are also provided. Based on this platform, service providers can easily send messages from one device to another device, or from servers to one device, which bring real seamless experience to users.
