Back to the history of theatre, the development of the audience-performer relationships is directly or indirectly affected by the technology. In the 1970 s,with the outbreak of the fifth information technology revolution, the computer and Internetbased digital technology became the new media, sweeping the world at an alarming rate and changing people's daily life. The Internet provides the public with an interactive platform for sharing ideas, narrowing the distance between everyone. At the same time, the audience's requirement of the audience-performer relationship has changed, they are no longer satisfied with the unilateral "participation",more desired to the multi-dimensional interaction.Interactive technology, also known as "human-computer interaction",as a kind of digital technology, with its interactive,real-time and immersion characteristics is widely applied to performance and influences the audience-performer relationships greatly. For the performance practitioner, the ultimate goal of performance is not entertainment, but the exploration of humanity, the excavation of real life.Living in a world filled with digital technology, the performance creators begin to realize that the application of technology in the performance not only includes the artist's reflection of real life but also shows the artist's imagination of the future life.Through this essay, the author will argue the influence of interactive technology on the audience-performer relationships from the three aspects of "space, actor and audience" and show the hope for the future relationship. At the same time, she will call on the contemporary performance creators to pay more attention to the relationship between people and technology, and the situation about how people in harmony with the technology in future.
