In recent years,as terrorism has become increasingly rampant on a global scale,security measures related to people's lives and property safety,so it becomes increasingly important.But the traditional measures of security has drawbacks,looking for a new type of intelligent security measures have been imminent.All objects in nature are always irradiated with millimeter waves,but different objects have different abilities to irradiate millimeter waves,and the intensity of the millimeter waves they radiate is different,and the millimeter-wave detectors can detect this difference and then imaging.Passive millimeter wave imaging system is penetrating,anti-jamming,and it is harmless to the human body,it a new solution for detecting the concealed target of the human body.And millimeter-wave is sensitive to the metal objects,the millimeter-wave imaging contrast is large when detecting metal objects,which makes millimeter-wave imaging particularly suitable for the detection and identification of metal objects.However,because of low the resolution and the low signal-to-noise ratio of millimeter wave images,it is difficult to use directly without processing,so it is necessary to use the image processing technique to extract useful information from the millimeter-wave image.Millimeter wave technology is a new technology,especially millimeter wave image processing technology,there are still many theoretical gaps waiting to fill,technical difficulties waiting to overcome,so millimeter wave imaging hidden target detection method has great scientific value and application prospects.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1)The imaging principle of millimeter wave image is studied,and the characteristics of millimeter wave image are analyzed.This thesis studies the existing millimeter wave image processing technology,and deeply studies the main millimeter wave image target detection methods: detect-before-track method and track-before-detect method.2)Based on the existing millimeter wave target detection algorithm,the detect-before-track method is developed and improved,and this thesis has proposed a new method of millimeter wave imaging concealed target detection,and a set of algorithm framework is constructed.3)Each part of the algorithm framework has been elaborative studied,after a lot of theoretical analysis and experimental testing,the algorithm framework for each part are given an effective solution.4)The algorithm of the millimeter wave imaging concealed target detection proposed in this thesis has been realized.And a set of efficient and easy-to-use software system has been developed.5)The algorithm and software system proposed in this thesis are tested in many aspects,and a lot of comprehensive testing is carried out for various input situations.It is proved that the algorithm and software system proposed in this thesis are accurate and efficient.
