For Mobile Operation And Nursing Application Of Network Planning And Design Deployment

With the continuous development of computer technology and communication technology,informatization has been highly valued by many medical institutions.The application of mobile rounds/nursing system moves the medical treatment work from the original desktop to the bedside,and thus,shortens the time of diagnosis of medical personnel,improves the working efficiency and the patients' degree of satisfaction.Therefore,it has become an important direction of the development of medical informatization.The mobile rounds/nursing system is based on wireless LAN the performance of which directly affects the clinical medical staffs working efficiency.Evidently,the planning,design and deployment of wireless network are important to the implementation of mobile rounds/nursing system.In order to ensure that the mobile rounds/nursing system operates stably,quickly and safely,this thesis investigates the planning,design and deployment of our hospital's network.The contributions of the thesis include the following aspects:1.According to the functional requirements of the hospital business and the existing network environment,a general plan of the network construction is proposed.The network architecture and topology of the wireless LAN are designed properly.2.In the part of wired network,devices such as core switches,access switches and wireless APs are selected and deployed according to the realistic requirements.3.In accordance with the special environment of the hospital,the installation positions of wireless APs are carefully planned so as to optimize the performance of the wireless LAN,where the mobility of terminals,radio coverage,frequency configuration and data throughput are taken into consideration.For the convenience of network management and maintaining,the SSID of the wireless network is defined and all devices are named according to the uniform rule.The wireless network devices are configured properly to achieve interoperability with the existing wired LAN.4.The signal strength,radio coverage,network delay,and channel switching of the wireless LAN are tested and analyzed.Besides,the mobile rounds/nursing system is also used to verify,the performance of the wireless LAN.The proposed architecture and implementation scheme of the wireless LAN provide seamless coverage for the wards of the hospital.Comprehensive performance tests show that,the network meets the design requirements in terms of running stability,data throughput and channel switching smoothness,and thus provides a strong support for the application of mobile rounds/nursing system.
